Three Years Ago...

...we saw this perfect little Sweetpea for the very first time.  It truly seems like yesterday.  We were so excited and scared too.  We found out on Monday of that week, and our first ultrasound was on Thursday.  It was amazing! 

What I didn't write in that original post was how cute Jonathan acted about the whole thing. He's very into how things work and what things do, so he asked a jillion questions about what the montior colors meant, what the different lines on the ultrasound's screen meant, what she was measuring, etc. Most daddies-to-be sit in a chair beside the mommy, on the other side of the table. Not your Daddy, Helen Claire. He sat right beside the bed, up next to the computer screens, or he stood up so he could see better. He had to understand every little detail. It's funny now because that's exactly how you are, too. You have to figure things out for yourself.


Helen Claire, since October 2009, things have just gotten sweeter and sweeter, and the past three years have brought us so much love and happiness!  You will always be our little Sweetpea, baby, Helen Claire.  We love you tooooo much!
