Last night was Helen Claire's Fall Festival at school. She was a piglet, and was a pretty cute one if I do say so myself.
She was a trooper, since the festival started right around her supper/wind down/bed time. Jonathan took her to each classroom, where all of the activities were, to the pony rides, and to the cakewalk. She loved seeing all of the big kids in their costumes, but she faded pretty fast. She slept after the first 20 or 30 minutes! At least she looked really cute. That's the whole point of baby's first Halloween costume anyway, right?
On a sidenote, I will not be signing up to help with the popcorn machine next year. Thanks popcorn machine rental place for giving us a broken kettle that would not turn properly and caused a fire alarm and the Homewood Fire Department to visit the Fall Festival!
