Little baby Sweet Pea,
How in the world are you 12 months old? You are such a big girl, and you are learning so much everyday. This has been a big month for you, and I know you are on the verge of becoming a walking, talking little toddler.
You are completely off of bottles now, and we are weaning you off of nursing gradually. By your 13 month birthday, you should be completely on your cup. You have your own milk in a sippy cup, and you did great weaning! We had been giving you a cup with water or sometimes with milk for a while with your solid feedings, just to get you used to it. But, the day before your birthday, we took milk to school instead of your bottles, and there was no turning back. Mrs. Mickey and Ms. Lindsey said you never missed a beat, and you haven't had any problems at home with the cup. You are very adaptable, which is a good quality to have as you grow up.

You are still very expressive, and your faces keep up guessing and laughing.
This month, you also have been working on your top teeth. They are not in yet, but I know they will be soon. You have done so much work to get them through.
You are still wearing size 3 diapers and 9-12 or 12 month clothes. You are little for your age, but your doctor said you are right on track for your height. You made fish for the bulletin board at school, and your foot was so tiny! Out of all the babies, you had the smallest foot. We are not complaining, though... you stretch that babyhood out as long as you can.
You started sleeping on your napper at school instead of your crib, and you love it! Every time I pull up the camera, you are being a good girl and staying on your cot. Miss Lindsey told me on the second day of nappers, that she saw you playing with the peg on your cot first thing in the morning. Then, at nap time, you pulled a little Barney toy out of the hole in the peg. You had stored a friend for nap! How smart! She was so tickled at you that she let you put him back in the hole after nap for the next day.
You are trying to walk, and you will hold onto the furniture and go anywhere you want, but you are still quicker when you crawl.
You still are a great sleeper, eater, and a good baby all around. You are spoiling us right now, because you are so easy and so sweet. You love to cuddle, give hugs and play- it is so fun to hang out with you at this stage. You have learned how to give eskimo and butterfly kisses, and it is our favorite! You especially love when Mommy gives you butterflies because I wear so much mascara and my eyelashes tickle. You still pat my face and "be easy" to mine and Daddy's faces. We love it. You are learning to be gentle, and it is so sweet. You are social and love to wave hello at anyone we see. You have recently decided that you like to hold onesies or shirts or pants, anything you can hold close like a security blanket. When we change your clothes, we have to give you a piece of clothing to hold onto. Your favorite thing to do is tell us what the bunnies do. You will hold up one finger on each hand, and bounce them up and down while you say "Hop-hop."

We play funny games, especially when Daddy is in charge. You "load watermelons" and drive them around...
You hook your car to your post office and have a trailer to tow, and sometimes you put a baby in the post office and give it trailer rides. Then daddy gets the microphone on your Elmo toy and pretends it is a CB radio and gives you directions like you are the truck driver. He tells you to take a load of toys to the living room or go back to the toy chest for another pick-up. Y'all are so funny.
You love your babies and take great care to make sure they are all covered up before you go to sleeep, and you kiss them and give them night-night love. You are such a tender, caring girl and I hope you stay that way.
You still love to play kitchen, in your own little kitchen and with Mommy in the real kitchen.
