Happy Thanksgiving

For the first time in our marriage, we spent Thanksgiving on our own.  We didn't travel; we didn't go to either set of families.  Instead, we stayed in Birmingham and had Thanksgiving with just the three of us.  It was different, but we enjoyed it, and I actually made all of Thanksgiving dinner myself!  We missed everyone, but it was kind of nice to stay in one place, too.

Helen Claire despised this shirt, so we took a few pictures in it, and then it came off.  I did want to add this one with the gum in her mouth, though, so I could remember how much she LOVES gum.  She's crazy about it.  She's really good with it, though, and doesn't swallow it.  But, she can spot it a mile away if you have some in your mouth.  So, you better be prepared to share a piece with her :)

We are so lucky to live in Vail.  The views from the lobby windows are so pretty, and Helen Claire walks around like she owns the place.

After lunch and nap, we played ball outside...notice no cute turkey outfit.  It was replaced by "toft, pinkt pants."

She would beg Jonathan to throw the ball really high...

We are so thankful for this sweet girl and for our family.  Lots of love to you this Thanksgiving.
