Helen Claire Weekly

52 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it an entire year, and just look how much this tiny baby has grown. She is such a big girl now. What a difference 52 weeks makes... it really blows my mind.

Everyday this week, she wore a birthday outfit to school.




Then, on Thursday, a day before her big birthday (because we are going to Newt's graduation on Friday), we had a little party at school. The night before, we made little "favors" for all of Helen Claire's friends...


Mrs. Mickey and Miss Lindsey made a special sign to put on the classroom door... one picture is from her first week at school and the other is from earlier this week... it was really sweet of her teachers to make it.

Helen Claire brought one of her favorite treats to share, blueberry muffins, and she got to wear a special hat.




You can tell from the picture that she didn't think the hat was all that special, but the party was very sweet, and I always love watching Helen Claire with her friends. I can't tell if she is enjoying this little birthday hug or trying to run away :)

Thanks to her teachers for helping out with our little party- it was a very sweet, special day for us!
I'll post later with pictures from her family party and our trip to see Newt graduate.
